F.A.Q.

  • Do you accept custom orders?

Sometimes, when I have the time! Please see the “Custom Requests” page to check if I’m currently accepting requests. I also make announcements on my instagram when submissions are open.

  • Do you ship outside of the US?

    Not at the moment, sorry!

  • Do you sell wholesale?

As much as I would love to take wholesale orders, I’m a single artist who works in small batches. It just isn’t possible for me at this time!

  • What are your pots made of?

I use a mixture of materials: mostly cement, a little epoxy, acrylic paint, resin, and protective sealant.

  • Can you make me a mug?

Short answer: No. Long answer: My plant pots are made of cement, they are not ceramic. Cement is not safe to drink out of, or to wash. If I ever venture into ceramics, then I will certainly be making mugs.

  • How long does shipping take?

I ship everything with USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to process and pack your order. Once shipped, you will be notified and your order should arrive in about 3 business days.

  • How often do you update your shop?

Follow @emmabugstudio on Instagram to stay in the loop :)

  • What if my pot arrives broken?

I do my very best to pack my pots securely and safely, but accidents happen. If your pot arrives damaged, please contact me with photos of the damage. From there, I can offer a refund! I do not accept returns or replacements.

  • Can I put my plant directly into my pot?

You absolutely can! My pots are made of sturdy cement and have drainage holes on the bottom. However, if you’re worried about maintaining the long-term integrity of your pot, you can keep your plant in an inner plastic pot and remove for watering to keep your plant pot in its best condition.

  • Where do you get your bugs?

I purchase my insects from various small businesses on Etsy! They are dead when I receive them.
